Even though last Thursday was the debacle that it was & it has restored my hate for the British Bobby, Jekyl Fucking Club owners & the violence on the streets of Dalston. But at the same time I have to say thanks to the few that showed up to attempt to make it a night to remember in a positive sense.

So thank you for all showing up & downing a few Singha's before the AssBags in Blue showed up to shut the night down.

So may I just say, be careful what you do in Dalston as the Police may consider it Disorder & shut you down.

Being a Photographer that Documents this so called ‘Culture’ of ours & it’s many ‘Sub-Cultures’ I have noticed a change over the last 2 years, & that change is Posing.

2 years ago it was hard to get your subjects at an event to 1st let you take a pic let alone Pose for one. But today & thanks to the likes of Marlon Bronques, & his site LastNightsParty, our Boombox/Alistair’s Photo Site DirtyDirtyDancing (which seems to be down right now), & even my site, plus the sheer number of people with cameras these days, they have all contributed to help make Posers of us all.

Damn that ‘VOGUE’ Track should come back Toute Suite…it was brought out in the wrong decade.

But having said that, what I do like about all this it challenges the Photographer to be different, & to use the tech savvy that he or she has…& I am not talking about Photoshop Filters, I am talking about what you do as you take the shot in the moment…your camera set up, your knowledge of light…all those things that you learn when not using Auto or Program…although I am a fan of Programme if you set it right.

But this Sony Commercial Captures what I mean very well…Sony, so on point !

The Science Museum here is pretty good, & you tend to forget all the seeds of knowledge that you can pick up.

I did like these images on the sides of some of the displays...hey these ARE the things that make us tick...well some of them.

No fucking joke !!!

Not tonight, not tomorrow night or any other fucking night.

Found out last night that some poor individual met with an unfortunate end at Pier One 2 weeks ago...you would have thought that these dick bags would have told us...what is wrong with these people...dude even asked if I would take pictures for his 10th wedding anniversary....uhhh no thank you. Or should I just say yes & not show the fuck up.

So that Parra/Patta London Jinx seems to still be in place...how fucked up is that. Some of the best DJ's on the planet (in my opinion) can't get a solid gig out of dates in my home town. I find that seriously embarrassing. When these boys play elsewhere, it rocks big time.

Anyway, the cops came and shut the place down around Midnight or just after. I was so pissed I even had a go at the officer for shutting the event down...& took a few pictures of them, Assholes that they are...10 cops to shut us down, idiots. I could not believe it when Acyde showed me the piece of paper...incredible.

Day by Day, little by little, we are turning more & more into a Police State...maybe I am exaggerating & my hangover is feeding my fire, but it is pretty pathetic.

But the Jazz Bar around the corner accommodated us really well, except that Peach Beer is nasty.

So Hung Over & Very pissed off today....& to top it off have to go to Solo's school to see some play...oh my poor head !!!

Yes Enjoy yourself & your life. This may sound like a bit of a downer, but you only have one shot in this life & it is important that you live free & be yourself. No hang-ups!

I write this today as a friend of ours passed away yesterday. She was 43 & died of a Brain Haemorrhage, she leaves a partner a 12year old son & a 16year old daughter. If you knew her, she was a healthy woman full of, I hate to say it, but full of life.

I was left feeling; you just never know when your number is up, so why waste your time worrying about pointless bullshit. Get out there live every fucking minute & be happy while doing it. There is no time to hold grudges & be pissed off at anything. All that does is create bad & dead energy that eats away at the time you have.

& That time should be spent living to the full. Be in the moment, stop worrying about tomorrow’s…because tomorrow never comes people, & today is tomorrow’s yesterday. & You cannot do shit about it the time is past.

I keep talking about today…TODAY is where it is at, that is where we live, yes we live here today. I am not living for a better tomorrow…no way I am living now.

Too much to enjoy in one day, fuck…too much to enjoy in one lifetime if you live it right.
