A few months back I was asked to get involved with STITCH MENSWEAR, the UK Trade show t Earls Court for the SS12 Season.

After a bit of to & fro...here I am doing some bits for them. What bits you ask well, we have the General Photography at the Show & at the Show Party...that bit is kind of standard from me. The other bits consist of an Small exhibition of my work, & I am looking forward to selecting the images that go up there...I have a plan formulating of what images already. & Last but not least I was asked to come up with some trends for SS12. I approached this by imagining what I would look for if I had a collection showing for SS12 @ Stitch, what would Fatsarazzi the collection look for as 'Inspiration'...& this is what I came up with...

' What I have discovered is that i am into Old School Fabrics. I would want to steer clear of everything coated & high tech...walk away from that side of the street & find a quiet corner where everything is Cotton & Natural. '

Desert Corps - Desert Rats, Lawrence of Arabia, Ice Cold in Alice...Simple Shapes with all the references of the Military of that Era.

True Blue - Vinatge, Heritage Based Work & Utility Wear, nothing new, but like the feel & styling...all in shades of Blue

Kings of Cool - Frank, Dean, Sammy & Peter...the Rat Pack, need I really say more. But here using Cotton & Natural Fabrics to contemporise the look...

I was invited to the opening of 1948 last night by Ronojoy @ Nike. Thank you squire.

I must say it was a pleasant experience, the renovations in the store were really good & it got 2 snaps up from me for the sheer contemporary feel to it. But then that is what you expect from a NIKE Concept Store. Still pushing those boundaries.

I liked it even more as I want with No1 Son Che & I wasn't taking pictures...I actually Sat down & enjoyed seeing a lot of people that I have not seen in a hot minute, & liked the fact I could chill with Che & be with good people.

Last week Sailor Jerry hosted an evenet @ No6 Dray Walk showcasing some of the Flash Art by Norman 'Sailor Jerry' Collins, that is featured in the Book. The Art is for sale & at a excellent price of £150.00 each...now that is a Bargain...all is on veiw for the next 3 weeks so get down there have a look & make a purchase...

I am begining to rediscover the mad professor that lives deep inside. that mad professor that was a production whiz & knew all their was to know about printing amongst other things...I like that professor & am glad that he is on his way back...

But I do love, that I am back in the crazy game...I have missed it...espcially all the printing...

Yes indeed...shoes it is.

Yesterday we got a box though in to the General Supply office, & this box was full of shoe boxes from Pointer ... & I honeslty am a big fan of Pointer. I have known Gareth for quite a while, we first met when I was doing the production for Silas & Maria & Gareth was the man with all the info that we needed to make the job happen. We have been friends since then & I have seen his company go from Strength to Strength...alwasy good to see good people do well.

Well there wer 3 pairs of shoes in the box for me & I was only too happy to recieve & wear them...Thank You Gareth & Pointer.

Now lets go back a few weeks to a recent trip to NYC & hanging with my brother from another Stash. Now Stash has been busy with SEBAGO shoes & has been queitly sitting in the lab creating excellent footwear. I was lucky enough for him to bless me with a pair of the Docksides that he did...& I can say, they are banging. So proud of my Bruddha for making this happen...look out for them, buy them...wear them...just fucking get them !!!

OK that is enough shoe chat from me for the moment....well for now anyway.

A few months ago I was at this rather nice party & was sat at a table with a rather nice gent, Mr Joe Hutchings. Now turns out that Mr Hutchings is the Brand Manager of Grenson Shoes...hey you know me, I could not let that lie. So I grabbed a card & did some polite chasing & begging...in the end I found myself with a pair of Grenson 'Sharp' Boots on my feet. A rather nice pair of boots I must say. I wore them the whole time was in Morocco as I figured that this was a nice way to break them in...& me being me...I took a few pictures along the way...
