After much talk & stuff, finaly got started on the 'Dressing Gown' project. Shots the 1st pics last week & arranged for Model no 2 to get involved when I get back from Holiday...Models 3 & 4 are being a little weak...& I have no 5 lined up too...looks like it will be a busy session or 4 when I get back from my Hols.
So watch this space for more info & hopefully this show will happen in TKY & then you can see them all in their Glory : )

A picture says a thousand words...well look at me...tired, naked & with a hat on. Regardless of the tired eye’s my vanity says I look alright ha hah.
So been sending the credentials here & there, but what has been more apparent than anything is to have a direction...a purpose for the road you have chosen. No sense in firing off your details to all & sundry as it speaks of desperation...the ‘grasping at straws’, so to speak. My dad likes to use that expression.
A clear vision of what you want to do & where you see yourself is paramount. My problem is I can do so many things. It reminds me of when I had a meeting with a big recruiter a while back & they told me I am a ‘Wild Card’ as I have done & can do so many things, that I am hard to catagorise. Well I liked that, but then in todays society you sadly need a label to fit in & for people to make sense of what it is you do.
That is just the way things are.
Like my Facebook Profile says, I am many things...Man, Father, Lover, Photographer, Inspirer, Instigator, Thrill Seeker & sometime Oracle & Businessman...but I can add more...Creative Director, Digital Consultant, Blogger, Producer...the Wild Card list goes on & on...
Well let us see what lies ahead...The Unkown is quite exciting, & not visited this place for a while...

Had a rather enlightening evening last night, & faced a few realities.
Times are tough in the life of Fatsarazzi right now, & if I can not change things for the better in the next month or so, I may be stacking shelves...& that is not a dis in anyway, just the harsh truth of where things stand at this moment in time.
The death of ANNEX at the hands of a French House that promised so much has left a deep hole in my pockets & a need to make something quick. The reality of that state of ‘Need’ is never a good starting point.
There are many projects in the Pipeline & all will bear fruit at the end of the year so it is not all bad. The potential to continue in that vein is good. & The more you put in the more you get out.
I also have a thought or should I say a question...can creativity make it in this country in these tough times. It seems that one can be a little more successful at what you do across the Pond than we can in our own back door. It is a mentality thing, many things here are talked down & not given a chance. & The things that do work are controlled & done by the same people, time & time again.
Yes it is logical to work with what you know in economic uncertainty, & not take many risks. But taking risks is a creative reality in itself.
It is not so much that the grass is greener, but perhaps the opportunities are.
I know what I can do & I know what I can bring to the table...but where is the table to bring it too.
I do not wish to sound like a whiney old goat, but it does make me wonder what is going to happen as things get tougher with all the talk & visions of economic change...one definitely needs toughen up & go knock...because Opportunity is not Knocking as much as before.
Times have changed & Adaptation is the order of the day.

Things may have taken a wrong turn here & there, but the book is still in the Pipeline.
Chatting with People to help with Publication & am pretty confident that it will still happen...me & my ego think it is long over due...no we really do.
After showing a few of the snaps that will be included back in January in Paris...the momentum needs to get back in the swing & bring this bad boy out...I got years of work to cram into a book of appx 200pages plus...but it will get there. Pics by me & an amazing layout by Philippe Soulie...it has got to work right. So keep an eye out...watch this space & all of that.

Found out a couple of things that make me think I am just too nice, & we all know where Nice Guys finish...
Had I been a little more forceful I would have discovered all a little sooner & the charade would not have not gone on for long. A question of note to self me thinks. Store that for later.
But, wait on the flip side of that, perhaps it is the individual that fed me the bull shit is the one to blame, & perhaps they need to look at themselves & their actions, reasons etc. There is always the score of karma but sometimes that just takes too long. I am impatient.
I am quite annoyed about it & when it involves people you consider close it always cuts a tad deeper than normal.
