I am going to go out on a limb here…I was watching Jools Holland last night, & Estelle was on…I really like this lady. I liked her when she did ‘1980’ & this new track is amazing for so many reasons.

For me the way she sings on ‘American Boy’ & from what I saw last night, she will change things, & as Kanye says ‘The Hottest Thing Right Now’.
But I like the way she sings, she reminds me of the Old School Jazz Diva’s like Billie Holiday & Ella Fitzgerald.

Too Bold you say…listen again…she has touches of these Greats, but her backingband has changed. A flavour of the Old Jazz,R&B with a Contemporary R&B Sound, and some lovely melodies.

& To bring it right down…I think the Laydee is rather Foxy.
